So it's Spurs and Chelsea again, their third meeting in less than three months. The clash of two old London rivals - with the first trophy of the season at stake - is hugely anticipated by the partisan and should be pretty good for the neutral if the previous two meetings are anything to go by.

Chelsea won the first, 3-0 at Stamford Bridge in early December. The Blues played well but Spurs might have scored first when Kane hit the bar early on.

Back at White Hart Lane on New Year's Day, Kane didn't put a foot wrong and scored two in Tottenham's 5-3 win.

So 11 goals in two games - not bad at all.

It was high-scoring the last time they met at Wembley too - Chelsea winning the 2012 FA Cup semi-final 5-1 and gaining revenge for theirLeague Cup final defeat to Spurs back in 2008. Older Spurs fans will also cherish the 1967 FA Cup final.

The Blues opened the scoring in each of their five matches on the way to this season's final. However, their only clean sheet came against Liverpool in the semi-final second leg.
Felipe Luis is the only player to start all five of Chelsea's games in this season's competition.

The 2008 League Cup final win over Chelsea is Tottenham's most recent trophy. They lost on penalties to Manchester United in the 2009 final.
Younes Kaboul is the only player involved in the 2008 triumph who is still at the club.
This is their 19th cup match of the season and 45th fixture in all competitions - the most of any Premier League side. Chelsea have played 40 matches.
Ten of Tottenham's 12 goals in the League Cup this season have been scored in the second half.
They have come from behind to win in eight league and cup matches this season.
Goalkeeper Michel Vorm and defender Jan Vertonghen have played every minute of Tottenham's League Cup campaign so far.
